MORE DISASTER RECOVERY FUNDING

This week, the NC Senate delivered $528 million in additional relief to help western NC communities rebuild after Hurricane Helene — supporting families, farmers, small businesses, and the rebuilding of local infrastructure.

Plus, House Bill 47 sets aside $217 million for eastern NC's continued recovery from Hurricanes Matthew & Florence. This is a crucial investment in our state’s future, and I’ll keep pushing for the resources our communities deserve.

NC BORDER PROTECTION ACT

Illegal immigration is a public safety crisis. That’s why I’m co-sponsoring Senate Bill 153 – the NC Border Protection Act – which we passed in the Senate earlier this month.
